How it works
Your website. With a little help.
Keep the website you already have. Let customers ask it questions, like an FAQ that answers back, and collect the enquiries that need you.
From your website to every question, in three steps
01 Your website
SayGday reads your public pages and drafts answers. Nothing goes live until you approve it.
02 A customer asks
Are you open on Sunday?
Yes, 8am to 2pm on Sundays.
In their own words, day or night. It answers only from what you’ve approved, and says so when it doesn’t know.
03 You see every question
- AnsweredOpen on Sunday?
- Sent to youTable for 12 on Friday?
- Not offeredGluten-free bread?
What was answered, what needed you, and what customers want that you don’t offer yet.
An example conversation, not a real business.
- 01
Start with your website.
Sign in with an email code and add your web address. SayGday prepares draft answers from the public pages it can read.
- 02
Check it before customers do.
Make sure the business information is correct, add anything missing and try the assistant privately. Only approved information should be used in customer answers.
- 03
Add it to your existing site.
Verify you manage the website, review your plan and follow the installation guide. Your website person can help add the chat code.
How it compares
Between an FAQ page and a chatbot.
An FAQ page keeps you in control, but it only talks one way: customers scroll, and you never find out what they came looking for. A chatbot talks back, but the AI decides what it says. SayGday gives you both halves: the conversation, and the control.
| An FAQ page | SayGday | An AI chatbot | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Customers ask in their own words | No | Yes | Yes |
| Who decides what it says | You | You | The AI |
| Where the answers come from | The page you wrote | Your website and your approved answers | Your content, plus whatever the AI knows |
| When it doesn’t know | Nothing happens | Says so, and passes it to you | It may guess |
| Takes an enquiry when someone needs you | No | Yes, with their email | Often |
| Shows you what customers are asking | No | Every question, in your dashboard | Usually |
| Setup | You write every answer | Built from your website | You train and tune it |
Your dashboard is for catching up. Not keeping watch.
Read what visitors asked, what the assistant answered and which enquiries need you. Customers leave an email for a personal response; you reply by email, not through a live-chat console.
You change your answers, hours and offer in your dashboard whenever you like. Contact us if you get stuck with setup or need a hand with billing.
