Our story
Built from experience.
After thirty years in customer-facing work, SayGday was created out of necessity for a small business. Now, it is available for yours. Here is how it happened.

It started on the floor.
Over a decade spent in hospitality taught a clear lesson: people arrive with questions and want straight answers from a person, not a sign. Whether they are asking about opening hours, pricing, or policies, answering well ensures they come back. Making them hunt for answers guarantees they don’t.
Different roles, same job.
Years spent in various customer service and delivery roles reinforced this. Across different industries and delivery routes, the core work was identical: managing a steady stream of people with something to ask. The day always went better for everyone when those questions were answered on the spot.
The same questions, over and over.
Every business receives the same routine questions all day, even when the answers are sitting right on its website. Visitors can’t always find them, so they call or leave. The realisation struck: the website itself should answer, in the owner’s own voice, and pass the rest on to a real person. Not a chatbot that makes things up, but a true front desk for the website.
Built for business first.
Having been on the other side of the counter, the required solution was clear: something that communicates existing website answers authentically and handles human hand-offs seamlessly. Because FAQ pages only communicate one way and traditional chatbots dictate their own script, a middle ground was built. After deploying the first assistant successfully, the platform was expanded so it could be used by others.
Where things are today.
SayGday is now live for small businesses across Australia, offering simple pricing, a free trial that begins the day the chat button first appears on your website, and a customisable assistant for your website. Support and initial setups are still managed directly, keeping the focus squarely on the businesses using the platform.
